Kitchen Remodel
As in most cases, you can’t predict what might be hiding behind the walls and floors of and historic home. This project presented a unique amount of challenges that appeared once the wall & floor coverings were removed. We ended up completely removing the existing full log floor system and replacing it with modern flooring system and flawlessly adapting it to the existing house flooring system. We added and repurposed materials to maintain a historically correct renovation. From installing period correct hand hued beams to installing salvaged copper sheet on the island top, no detail was over looked.
